What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is an ancient system of hands-on healing for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words—Rei and Ki—meaning universal life force energy. Reiki works on the field of energy all around the body and can be a helpful support alongside medical, psychological, and spiritual care.
Reiki is both powerful and gentle, and is often used to support stress relief, emotional balance, and overall wellbeing.
Reiki I — Class Description
This class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and experience. A Reiki I Degree attunement is given. The following information and techniques are covered:
- History of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki
- The Reiki hand positions
- Giving a complete Reiki treatment for self and others
- Reiki ethics for professional practice
- Chakra attuning and balancing with Reiki techniques

Reiki II — Class Description
This class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and experience. A Reiki II Degree attunement is given. The following information and techniques are covered:
- How to incorporate Reiki symbols

- How to balance the chakra system using Reiki
- Crystal & Reiki integration
- 3-phase Reiki emotional healing program
- Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits
Reiki III / Master Teacher — Class Description
This class is a combination of lecture, discussion, and experience. A Reiki Master Degree attunement is given. The following information and techniques are covered:
- Learn the sacred practice of attunements and using the Master Symbol
- Learn to develop Reiki manuals and curriculum for student instruction
- Receive instruction on professional client and instructor etiquette
- Gain access to the Heart Sutra as a tool for navigating your healing practice
- Additional Reiki techniques: Gassho Meditation, Reiji-ho (developing your intuition), Byosen Scanning, Gyoshi ho, Koki ho, Kenyoku, and Jacki-kiri Joka-ho
